Senate Faculty titles include Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Full Professor, Lecturer with Potential Security of Employment (LPSOE), Lecturer with Security of Employment (LSOE) and Senior LSOE.

Characteristics that distinguish appointments in these title series from other titles include:

Have a permanent, state funded position (FTE)
On track to tenure or security of employment
Confer Academic Senate membership, with the associated rights and responsibilities
