Faculty Mentors - please work with your School or ORU staff to discuss the recruitment and appointment process. Depending on the specific situation, this process may take a few weeks to a few months (if a VISA is required). As referenced, a Postdoc must have a complete Ph.D. at the start of an appointment. In addition, there are other forms required to request an appointment for a Postdoctoral Scholar, your School or ORU staff can provide additional information.
Required Forms:
UCM-AP-411 - Postdoctoral Scholar Personal Data Form is completed by the potential Postdoctoral Scholar.
UCM-AP-412 - Postdoctoral Scholar Appointment Form is completed by the Faculty Mentor to request the Postdoctoral Scholar appointment.
UCM-AP-441 - Postdoctoral Scholar Annual Review Summary is a form that Faculty Mentor's may use to complete an annual appraisal; however, this may be completed using other forms/or narrative appraisals. The completion of an annual appraisal is required per Article 21 the union contract.
