PI Requirements
The Post Award Management department will assist the PI’s with the day to day administration of all Contracts, Grants, and Gift funding. However, the following PI requirements are still necessary for all awards.
- Approval of all purchasing, travel, and reimbursements (can be delegated) (see Delegation of Authority)
- Approval of any additions or deletions of salary
- Meet with Post Award Management every three months to verify and certify all activity within the awards
- Final determination that all costs charged to awards are within the scope of work for that project
