The National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD)UC Merced became a member of NCFDD in the Fall of 2014. This resource provides mentoring, coaching, online workshops and forums related to life in academia. In addition, NCFDD offers network opportunities, a career center, referrals and resources. FacultyThe Senate Committee on Faculty Welfare, Diversity and Academic Freedom and the Academic Personnel Office launched a Faculty Professional Development Series in Spring of 2014. The series consists of monthly workshops and luncheons that provide information on various topics such as publishing, work-life balance, mentoring and more.
